Moving back to San Antonio!

Well, after all these years I've finally come full circle. San Antonio, the city of my birth, is now going to be my home again after all these years. I accepted a great position with Rackspace Hosting, an incredible company based out of there and will be moving at the end of April.

Aaaah...Colorado, I will miss you. The beautiful mountains, the fresh powder on the slopes, my wonderful friends, the beer...mmmmmmmmmm Colorado microbrews! To everything, turn, turn, turn...

I'm excited after so long to be home.

Trouble, trouble...

Well, if there is one thing that absolutely has not changed as the years fly by, it is my innate ability to find trouble. No matter how hard I try, in some weird way I am still that 10 year old kid getting caught in the act, the altar boy stealing the church's wine. I guess it makes life interesting.

Damn These Dreams

After yet another dream about work I've decided that this must stop. I used to dream about superhuman abilities, living inside a toaster, having lasers shoot from my elbows, being a dolphin, trying out for the San Antonio Spurs, being the first man with 18 testicles to appear on The Price Is Right, winning the 'best afro' award in a costume party when I really had just let my hair grow long and wasn't wearing a costume, and, of course, orgies with past and current schoolteachers...
and now I'm arguing with my boss and in trouble yet again in the office. Again.
Go ahead...analyze me.

The New Cd

So, here it is. A new cd lined in chicken fur, late nights, and bad decisions! Wednesday, A Few Minutes Before Noon. The new cd is finally done, available now for purchase or download on CD Baby, iTunes, and most major online distributors. You can hear some song samples there as well.
I have to thank Brad Taylor and Steve Cram for their amazing contributions to this project, their talents really brought this cd to life. Tony at Sonic Audio Productions here in Denver helped smooth out the rough edges and make this thing worthy of being listened to....Tony rocks! Special thanks to my wife, Angela, you are undoubtedly the coolest thing in my life! Thanks for the patience and inspiration!
Ah, the chicken suit...I soooo want to wear the damn thing to work. I'll have more pics up someday soon, the chicken pictures were quite the adventure! Amazing what fun you can have as an idiot dressed up as a chicken.
When you purchase the cd, please feel free to review it on either CD BABY or iTunes, any honest feedback is cool.
And, finally, cheers. Come by a gig if you are in the area, shoot me a message online or on Facebook, but mostly, thanks for listening and I hope to see you at a gig sometime soon!
Rick.
